Description

A Japanese developmental clinical psychologist, Dr. Hiroshi Usagawa established a theory called "higher performance in sensory processing and movement" and had an enormous impact on music therapy practice for children with disabilities in Japan. This seminar will provide an overview of the theory and introduction to the assessment, goals, programs, and evaluation. The presenter will share some video clips of his sessions to address developmental perspectives in music therapy. He will also introduce practical works.
