Description
It's a unique and unforgettable experience in drumming on traditional Japanese instruments. This workshop will first introduce the basic skills on drums. The importance of how to use the body as well as the voice will be pointed out. Attendees will have opportunities to play on different types of Japanese drums and to learn how to construct a short performance which can be adapted for different music therapy sites. There will be a chance to work in small groups, create a short ensemble piece and perform at the end of the program.
